Work started in 2018 with lots of prior pre-construction and moves of utilities, etc

It is scheduled to be complete in 2026 - with a phase 2 being partial complete in 2024.

LAX/LAWA have had a really good construction/project team over the last 5+ years. They also incentivize contractors financially for work completed properly EARLY so few of their programs (TBIT, TBIT West Sat, T3, T1, LAMP/Ground-Landside/Train/RentalCarColocation, etc) have ever been anything but a bit early or on time. Even though these programs like T4, T1, T3 (Delta) are for specific airlines, LAWA manages ALL construction to their standards, program planning and with vendors they pick in conjunction with the airlines. The airlines project manage their specific UNIQUE aspects but baseline building construction is LAWA's responsibility always
