While waiting for my miles to show up on the account the saver award on a very specific flight disappeared. How likely will they release more seats or should I give up and look for a different date ? It’s my first time flying SQ still trying to figure out how the award works.

well, for future reference, if you find a award seat available and you don't have the miles yet, you should have call and let them reserve that seat for you. They will give u few days for ticketing deadline. Now, in your case, when you receive you miles, waitlist on the same flight which disappeared and try looking for other dates and confirm it. Note : confirm a flight first before you waitlist another not unless you have plenty of miles.
