Yes, GK, but nobody builds an empire like Branson's on their own. He has backers, bankers etc etc. Singapore owns 49%, and while not technically a controlling stake this would certainly be a blocking one. Even Branson would be hard put to turn down the right price. Who knows, he might get to be chairman of BA. He'd love that. (Branson Airlines, maybe )
