This to me is a bit of a step back, and involves a wait for a drink, for time which you might have limited before your flight... Also means someone may be monitoring your consumption too, and whatever downsides there are to that, given they can track that to how much you've had on the flight.

Ok, so there's no evidence that BA are doing that, it's the time more than anything. I'd not put it past AA to do that, what with the drink tokens and various laws in the US, I do wonder if they're confusing their initials for something else....

Sounds like if leaving from a B terminal, it's GF till it's announced, and then T2B after that...
