This is saddening to me as I was going to switch from Westin long term to Athenee. I was not expecting a suite upgrade but I was always upgraded to a next category and they have accommodated me in a suite just this December for a bit of my stay.
I also did notice that some others get better treatment but I never experienced that...so that makes me really think hard because I KNOW I'm a no one lol.
