I finally managed to get my accounts linked. As others have suggested, my most recent Uber trips were out of the country. I took an Uber trip here in Vancouver yesterday and then tried the link (via the QR code through the website) and it worked. The things I'll do for a few points! (also completes the jumpstart your status tasks, so a few more points and precious, precious SQD)
