Generally the cabin crew bags are not over row 1 (in my experience) and there will be space. The only aircraft type with a issue is the G-GATx A320 (with missing seats 1D&F) as there is no locker space above 1A-C and 2D-F but provided you board early there will be space nearby.

I’d go for row 1 every time except maybe avoid 1C as it’s exposed to the aisle and avoid 1A and 1C on the G-GATx aircraft unless you like chatting with the crew (there is no divider between the seats and the front entrance / crew area).
