I have paid a lot of cash to fly business class this Summer to CLT and return from RDU. Both flights on 777-200's. Despite ALL of AA's promotional photos showing the Super Diamond style business seats I gather a certain proportion of 777's still have the older Zodiac configuration. I just wonder if anyone can confirm what the norm is on these routes? I would be really disappointed to have paid so much for Zodiac!
RDU-LHR isn't operating right now (ETA: sorry I can't read... I see you're flying RDU this summer... assuming it even comes back as it's been delayed a lot)
I flew CLT-LHR a few weeks ago and got the 'good' config, but I don't think there's any rhyme or reason as to which equipment you'll get. You can check flightradar24 and see what's been flying most recently.
