Hi everyone, I current have 3 chase business Cards (preferred, Ink plus and Ink cash) and 5 personal Chase cards (IHG Select, Ritz, Freedom, Southwest, Air Canada). I am still at 4/24 and can apply for one more personal and more business. Currently working on getting to $12,000 for the Southwest 100K bonus and $4000 for the Air canada bonus. All other cards are older cards. I closed Hyatt and Chase Sapphire preferred last year.

My only main card is Chase Ink preferred for 5% internet, cell phone and insurance. Other than that, I use my cards to meet bonuses and then move on the next.

Concerned I have too many and still want to apply for Chase Southwest Business, Hyatt, possibly IHG Premier in future. Should I close the Ink Plus and Cash cards since I only got these two cards for the 70K bonus which I received last year. I received both of these cards in 2021. Then I can apply for new Ink Business cards in 48 months.

On personal side, want to keep $49 IHG card for annual night. Ritz for the benefits of priority pass. Freedome for 5%. I just opened personal Southwest Jan this year and will keep one year then cancel. Air Canada/Aeroplan just opened. Again, keep one year then close.

Also, concerned that I should have less Chase cards to avoid any shutdown/keep chase off my radar. Thoughts on closing both Ink cards? Should I stay away from opening future chase accounts for a little bit and maybe start getting a few more business cards from Amex, Citi in meantime?
