Not to say, because WA is "connected" with Facebook and Facebook does have those nice little "like" button strayed all around the internet websites, there will be a "direct" connection between you, everything you do and all the members of your address book. That's the "strength" of social media and makes you as a person with your interests, the valuable product for the advertisers who pay Facebook a fortune to push their ads to you and your address book members.

Alternative would be to have 2 phones:
- One for the normal operations, calling, browsing, emailing, etc. Take care to have anti-tracking plugins, etc installed.
- One for WA, FB, Telegram, etc, IE for all those content/infrastructure providers, who just ignore your privacy and want to know everything about you, to sell you to the highest bidders.
