Does anyone have experience connecting intl-intl airside on separate tickets in LHR? Assuming no luggage, can we go through without having to go landside?
If JAL rebook you to LHR, I'd assume that they get you to your destination, and adds a BA connection to Paris.
But even if you have to buy separate tickets, you just need to do online check in or do a check in at the airside transfer counters to do an airside transfer. JAL will check luggage through to BA on separate tickets. But BA as a principle does not.
JAL operates from T3 and BA Paris flights from T5, so don't book too tight.
