I seem to remember some rule on BA about having to present the CC used for booking at checkin. What do you do if you book a ticket for another person but cannot accompany them to the airport and they do not have your card to show at checkin? Do you have to document this in the PNR somehow or provide some evidence before they travel?
To reiterate make sure you select the correct option when booking.

There is a part where this message is displayed:

Who is paying?

there is a drop down that lists

1. passenger (name you entered is displayed)

2. Someone else

As long as you select someone else and enter your name BA know it is a third party payment.
