Between that, the lack of housekeeping, the old busted hotel with no working refrigerator, no working heating and unusable wi-fi, I am quite simply “out” with Hilton in the US.
Since the program came Into effect, I haven't stayed in a U.S. Hilton Honors property. (I'm lifetime Diamond, formerly 60-90 nights.) Admittedly, I might still come out okay in terms of getting Diamond benefits at some properties. But i spend a lot of time in "industrial park" HGIs, where there are no breakfast options outside the hotel and I don't have a car. The changes have really soured me on HHonors.
Sorry, I haven't contributed to the conversation. Just had to say it.
