United reducing flights to Tokyo / Japan? When will more normal UA operations resume?
I've noticed that flights from LAX > HND are scheduled months out, but UA continues to cancel them. Has anyone here ever made it onto UA 39 LAX > HND? I'm planning ahead of time, and would rather fly to HND, but the risk in waiting it out and being dumped over to NRT at the eleventh hour is the issue.

This particular route was added prior to the Olympics, and I'm not sure it ever even flew!
