When I was there in late December, I was given a suite upgrade without even asking for it and was told to have breakfast in the restaurant since the lounge was closed. The suite was nothing special (the entire hotel is so tired and in need of renovation) but the breakfast buffet was very good, so it's a shame to lose that benefit.
