When I did ATL-CDG (AF), CDG-DXB (AF), DXB-CDG (AF), and CDG-ATL (DL) back in the Fall I had this experience (by leg)

1 - Full flight, no upgrade offered.
2 - Full flight, no upgrade offered.
3 - Upgrade offered at CI, declined due to cost and timing of the flight.
4 - Upgrade to C+ available shortly after booking (PM).
