The same argument had been raised for Kimpton (IHG will kill the brand, etc.).
The reality is that only Kimptons properties that were not up to standard left IHG. The brand has risen in value and internationalized thanks to the power of IHG.
Likewise, IHG's strength in development signing and marketing/sales can allow Six Senses - a superb but quite confidential brand - to grow.
I am simply relaying information as I have heard it in the interest of enriching these forums. I and many other online users understand that you have a most stellar experience with IHG and love the program through and through, but your positive emotions do not and should not contradict anyone else’s nor should they undermine or challenge them as you have on this and other threads.
I - and I believe
we - want the best from IHG as we do from Marriott, Hyatt, Hilton and the general travelsphere.
