However in my experience, I had a flight booked with travel credits, and the flight was canceled and I had to rebook. When I cancelled I noticed my new travel bank credits had an updated expiration date. However I rebooked and used up those credits so I can't say with 100% certainty that yours would do the same, but that was my experience.
