Which country did you buy the ticket? In case it's point of sale related, but I guess they are looking for redemption space on the JL services. There is an option for the agent to check with oneworld liaison to see if space can be opened up. BA tends only to use commercial space when their own flights are cancelled by them, not for other airlines. 742 on 23 March may show redemption space later, it's not very well sold at the moment.
