You should apply for retrocredit with M/M explaining that despite your M&S No. in the reservation you have received no miles with M&S, hence you request it with M/M.
My information could be out of date… the trips I refer to were in 2018-19 and I did try to chase down the miles after but to no avail. I see now on the M&S site that P is included. I now remember more than one instance around then. For the flights to South America, perhaps the problem was being operated by Edelweiss even though it was sold and marketed under Swiss. But for another (TLV-ZRH) it was definitely LX metal and didn’t credit even after I applied retroactively. On the other hand, my outbound (ZRH-TLV) credited although to be honest after almost four years I don’t remember if that was Z or P. When I bought the tickets I wasn’t paying attention to the difference as I thought all paid business should earn at least something.
Although on a more recent purchase, I was looking at a nice fare with LX/LH to South America, and I thought the M&S site seemed still to show no earning on P fares. I ended up just buying an A fare as I prefer to fly First anyway.
P across star alliance seems to be a gray area in my rather limited experience.
