Can anyone else confirm?
I posted this last week in the
No Loyalty Points earned on in-app/web browser paid upgrades - Page 3 - FlyerTalk Forums thread...

I flew DFW-BOS RT this week. I was offered a buy up to First in the APP, so I selected it for the flight home.
The ticket then showed a new total for base fare which included the buy up amount. Ticket home changed to R class.
When I received the final credit for the trip I received Loyalty Points for both original base ticket fare AND the buy up to F. And they both received the Elite bonus (PLT) as well.
In the past, EQDs did not work like this. Not sure if this is a one-off event or a change in how elite program works, but if they reward me with LPs for those buy ups every time it wouldn't hurt my feelings.
As always, YMMV."
