Stayed there over the weekend. The hotel building is nice, but it still needs work internally. Again, this is reflective of the Marriott model of franchising. Major lack of consistency.
- First problem. Status isn't recognized. Wasn't given a room upgrade (Titanium) because they were "full". Yeah right, nice try. Then they had the nerve to tell my third guest that there would be a 1000 NT charge for him to come to happy hour. I would expect this to be waived given the lack of upgrade. Next, there was no discount offered for F&B which is included in Marriott Bonvoy status.
- The Lobby Lounge food isn't very good. Small, miserly portions of food. Nothing seemed very fresh.
- Breakfast buffet was meh. Very low effort.
- The Cantonese place on the 8F is nice. Seems legit. That was a highlight of the F&B scene at the hotel.
- Gym and pool are spacious. Though too many kids on the weekend.
