I would click on "Cancel Trip". That will take you to a page where you can get a refund or a voucher. I believe that you can hold off on cancelling even after you've clicked on "Cancel Trip".

Amtrak cancelled my trips during service disruptions earlier this year and I cancelled them and got refunds that way with no problem.
