It’s inspiring the same level of awe as I did the first time seeing the Grand Canyon. I can’t wait to watch the sunrise come over the mountain tomorrow.

Also after the conversation I had with the food manager, he offered to specially prepare a meal for us. The executive chef spent years in Thailand, so he made us a curry that actually tasted like a curry. It was delicious all around. So it’s not that they can’t cook here. I think perhaps the surveys they’ve received so far have been highly misleading, making them take the ultra safe approach. Because no guest I’ve spoken to has been impressed with the dining options other than the Chinese restaurant.
Now that would be a great place to see the sunrise!

My wife and I went up to the viewpoint next to the chapel to see the sunrise a couple of times. We went while it was still dark, maybe about an hour before sunrise. It was very cool. Both times we were the only people there. I highly recommend it. IMO, you are missing out on something special if you don't see the (hopefully) orange sunrise while at the CBBN.
