I flew AA the other night (Wednesday) and tried calling during IROPS after landing at LGA since my connection was canceled due to the weather in NYC and even as an AA PLAT it was 2-2.5 hours for the wait time so I didn’t even bother waiting to get through to an agent.
AA Plat = DL Gold. 2-hours during a weather event is actually really good. Any DL Gold in NYC caught in that weather storm had a much longer wait. I’m a DM and during winter weather IRROPS on DL have had 2+ hour hold times and chat agents the same. Not sure what you’re complaining about here. AA is MUCH better.
