Mystery $239 Doordash Credit on CSR

March is the anniversary month for my CSR and the $550 annual fee shows online, but it's still about a week until statement closing and the annual fee becomes due.

Here is the weird thing: A few days later, a $239.xx (some cents) listed as "Doordash Fee Credit" also appeared on my online statement.

I have not used Doordash once over the last two years. I quit using them after getting my two $60 annual fee credits.
I'll wait to see if the credit is still there after the statement closing date, and I have to decide what to do about the $550 annual fee.
Not sure if Chase intends this as a $239 offset against the annual fee as an incentive to keep the card.

**UPDATE for March 26**
Got a letter today from Chase that was mailed separately from my bill that also has the $550 annual fee posted. It explained it was a refund for not ever activating my DoorDash benefit. I went back two or three years of bills to verify that I had not been charged for a DoorDash membership separately on my Chase Sapphire card. Last DoorDash food delivery purchase was early 2000, and I used up my two annual $60 Sapphire DoorDash credits, which have since ended. The letter explained how to activate my free DoorDash credit going forward. Letter also said I may be 1099'd for amount of the refund. I think this is fair if Chase is considering the refund to be "free money" and not a credit against the annual fee.

Sapphire has become a millennial-only brag card. DoorDash is pretty useless where I live, and a Peloton membership more so. "Pay Yourself Back" is now a rotating category. Chase Travel portal is still less good than booking direct. All this mediocrity now costs more annual fee. I think I am done.
