Food wasn't bad for me, but indeed service was lacking... the reason I was upgraded was due to an earlier lapse at check in where I immediately complained to some manager.

Well that's exactly what happened with me too... the service was so bad that I complained and the Uruguayan GM at the time was fantastic... he admitted that HR was his biggest challenge.
On the flip side I met Nicolas Cage at the rooftop restaurant so it was a star-studded experience overall!
