Sometimes you can get agents to give some flexibility if for example you had a 90 min connection and there’s a 45 minute change that now leaves you with only a 45 minute connection which is above MCT but not within many people’s sensible or preferred connection time.
Just moved to an earlier DCA-DTW flight when a connection to LHR went from 2 hours to 45 minutes. Agent took care of it.
