No a flight number change isn’t going to warrant a free reroute.
The flights must change by at least 60 minutes or have a change that results in a violation of Minimum Connection Time (MCT) to get free re-routing (though I have had the website offer me free a free repute following schedule changes of just a few minutes - not sure if DL has adjusted that at all lately).
Sometimes you can get agents to give some flexibility if for example you had a 90 min connection and there’s a 45 minute change that now leaves you with only a 45 minute connection which is above MCT but not within many people’s sensible or preferred connection time.
