Didn't clear. At check-in, was #7 on the UG list of what looked to be 50. Right before flight I think I was at #5. At least I was able to get premium. I've learned to not expect upgrades on LAX/SEA or SFO/SEA flights alot since there's literally people who commute to/from work daily now. FA told me there were a lot of us 100Ks on board.
H class is an eligible fare for MVPG+ and would clear immediately at time of purchase if U space was available. Without U space you would have been waitlisted and could have been upgraded at any time thereafter, even before the 75K/100K window.
If indeed your fare class was H, I find it surprising that you were so low on the upgrade waitlist. That suggests that 6 other 100K Elites (or as little as 3 if each had a companion) were in Fare Class H, and purchased their tickets before you or were in a higher fare class. From my recent flying, I don't have a lot of confidence in the upgrade process. It was broken before but now feels "brokener."
