I did not notice anything, other than things were fairly quiet which was not a surprise given it was Jan. Then again I would leave for the office in the burbs at 8am and would not be back to the hotel until 7pm so was not really spending time in the area.

I guess it probably is worse than before the troubles started, and for sure I was more alert after talking to my co-workers, but at the same time I will probably stay here again on the next trip
I've stayed the regency 3x in last 5 weeks. Walked all the way north to 7th street on our recent visit and walked back to the hotel after 10pm.

I felt perfectly safe - no sign of anything that negative. We stayed at the centric back around the time of the big Trial where everything was all boarded up, that was surreal.

The hotel is finally getting back to busy after many canceled events due to omicron- earlier this week was hundreds of high school kids for some conference.
