I'm a bit confused if we accumulate miles or pqp/pqf on non alliance partners. Specifically, I am looking to book a flight from london to dublin on aer lingus, which is one of these non alliance partners. since that flight is not showing up on united/star alliance, i'm quite unsure

Additionally, do any United benefits carry over, such as free checked bag?
