We just returned from a wonderful, three-night stay. We didn't bring our dog but several were there. The resort does not allow dogs for indoor dining, only on the patio (which is expansive with heaters and where you'd likely want to eat anyway). The patio was closed one night due to forecasted rain, so I presume folks with dogs had their dinners brought to their rooms (which is also complementary with full menu).

AFAIK health code for restaurants doesn't allow non-service dogs indoors. I believe restaurants are even required to provide a separate non-indoor entrance for dogs, if they're going to allow them on the patio.

One of the mornings we wanted to dine at Sur House for breakfast but it was raining. Called in and inquired about how the situation would be like if we brought our dog and they said unfortunately the dog can't dine with us because there was only indoor seating available.
Thanks all! Figured that was the case, but wanted to ask just to be sure. No issues with outdoor//patio dining with the dog.
