In Cairo, I use Le Méridien, Cairo Airport at Terminal 3 for airport stopovers. I also use the Heliopolis Towers Hotel as it's also convenient for the airport. It's now a Waldorf Astoria (used to be Fairmont). Le Méridien is the best for peace of mind as it is so close. The Pearl Lounge did not have sleeping rooms when I was last there (before Covid lockdowns). I heard that sleeping pods were to be installed at this lounge, Terminal 2, 'Newbtravelle'. Chargeable on an hourly basis. Worth comparing that cost to the comfort of a hotel?
