I had a conversation with some of the staff in charge of food, and they explained it’s to match the “European palette” but the food I had in Paris was to die for. It’s pretty depressing to pay $300 for dinner, and be thoroughly disappointed.
Agreed. Neither restaurant seemed like our preference of meal (which is totally on us - we can be picky and you really need to love what you're eating for their prices). We ordered room service twice, and I was disappointed even before the price was factored in. (Items ordered: Carbonara pasta, Chicken Caesar, Pizza, and Fish and chips)
We did, however, split a burger at the pool bar and liked that quite a bit.
