Does BA fly non stop from IAH? (I have not checked)
Is UA a non stop flight IAH-FCO? (I have not checked)
What are the actual departure, transit & arrivals times
No one flies nonstop from IAH to Rome, unfortunately.

Thanks for the tip about the seat-selection charge!
I checked out some YouTube videos (as suggested above - thanks!) and decided on United. On the BA site they list the aircraft type but then on Seat Gurus, there are several versions of each type and BA didn't list which version. I'd like to try the BA Club World seats one day, but in the end, United was about $800 cheaper and showed exactly what aircraft and I was able to choose my seat at no extra charge.
Thank you all so much for your help!
