My collegue just returned from Phuket and has stayed one week at The Chedi and another one at The Evason.
She was very disappointed with the Chedi mainly caused by very inattentive service (worst part), noisy maintenance work and a bland breakfast buffet. Her short visit to the Amanpuri was definitely not an incentive to return to where she belonged .

She loved the Evason (very good service, friendly staff, great food, beach island).

I have stayed at Banyan Tree, Sheraton and Dusit Laguna and would return to try... The Racha
