I received this email yesterday from Delta Customer Care...it addresses the question several people have had about flights that were ticketed before Nov. 15:

"Thank you for your e-mail regarding Delta's SkyMiles program.

Tickets purchased prior to the Fly One promotion start date of November
15 are eligible. However, you were not eligible to enroll until
November 12, 2004. Any tickets purchased before you enrolled in the
promotion will not be eligible for the bonus miles.

We appreciate your interest in Delta Air Lines.

Once again, my ticket-purchase timing was lousy!
