One ticket. And I only have hand luggage. I don't mind an unpleasant 22 hours in the transit area, If that would save me 150 USD (which is the price of a PCR test here) and the cost of an expensive hotel room in Toronto. I am fully vacinated (three shots) .
What worries me is the change of text on the website of the Canadian government regarding "Transit to another country by air"
A few weeks ago it said that (when transiting through Canada to another country without submitting the ArriveCAN) overnight connections were not possible at YUL, YYC and YVR. Now it has been changed to: Overnight connections are not possible at YUL, YYC, YVR and YYZ. But it also says that you can transit within 24 h and that your connection must occur on the same day. Sunday at 0055 and Sunday at 2200 is indeed the same day! Isn't that contradictorio?
