I think there was something lost in translation here. Generally these lounges are large with different rooms. The attendant may have pointed to a room not in use at the time but they open and close sections at will.
Honestly, this is a terrible idea. Your aversion to spending money aside this is CAI and nothing will go smoothly.
The LM will be much more comfortable than arguing with immigration and security with whom you are likely to draw unwanted attention.
