I do not have (or want) any Delta credit card.
My travel has significantly INCREASED due to covid, but is split between DL and UA (Whichever is less expensive by company policy).
On DL for the last three years, I've reached MQM threshold, but fall short on MQDs (by about $800).
A good portion of my DL travel has been in paid F, so I may check 2x70LB bags of equipment. However the flights have been insanely cheap (I just did JFK-SAN RT in the back for $207, which posted $160 MQDs). 0 flights in Basic.
I did purchase a Skyclub membership, out of my own pocket last month.
Due to MQM rollover, I was hoping for the slim chance to reach gold this year, as I see no value in silver other than a free checked bag.
After being quite perplexed for a while, I decided to call Delta and inquire.
Apparently, they combined several years of travel, and granted full status for six months.
The requirements to keep it until 2024 are half of normal.
Only silver is available.
The agent was difficult to understand, so I do not know which years were combined. The agent also acknowledged this not being communicated vie E-Mail or any other way to me.
Thanks for the response. I'm guessing they combined some of my prior years as well.
