Had a recent weeklong rental out of KOA. Booked a PREMIUM level as an Executive Elite member. Yes, pickup by Alamo bus and they phone ahead so your car is ready pretty quickly.

Was hoping for a Jeep kind of (Novelty), ended up with a Cadillac XT4 - All Wheel Drive, a small SUV. They also offered a different SUV or a Nissan Pickup! Other than a brief test drive of a Cadillac some years ago for an AA promotion, I had never driven a Cadillac, so it was interesting. As I write this I think to myself, wouldn't it be cool to have a rental car outfit offer classic cars from the past at reasonable prices? A "true Caddy."
