No reef villas have sunset views. The even number 500s villas have the lagoon so calmer waters but no reef and you will see the OWVs across the lagoon. All the odd numbered villas will face the ocean and do have a sea life but it will be windier on that side.
The best place to snorkel IMO is entering from the beach behind the dive center and swimming to the right along the drop off.
