Mine were tongue in cheek. Okay, I might've been poking a little fun at ya simply because I see a lot of posts here on FT about how hotel points or frequent flier miles are worth 5 or 10 cents each based on what airlines charge for F tickets or the hotel rate printed on the back of the room door, but I really didn't mean any offense. Just havin' fun...
As for the status, I think people were simply confused when you listed all of those statuses and said you were an infrequent traveler. I didn't realize that Amex Centurion actually gave you all those top-tiers. I knew it gave you elite-equivalent treatment in a lot of chains, but when I read your list of statuses I figured you were a 200-night/yr guy across all of those chains.
