Seems you arrived at MLE barely 40 odd minutes after us but immigration was a breeze for us as all counters were empty and we were out in about 10 minutes. However, we ended up waiting for 3 hours for the seaplane transfer since some other guests were delayed - I guess it was you Heathlier - and were perhaps the last flight out at 5.30PM.

We had a different scene with the credit card. We were also told that they can't charge the card on file and need a physical card. What's more, they had no record of our having prepaid $1500 and hence were quite insistent on putting a 'hold' for $2000. Not that the hold was a problem in itself, but their not having the record was worrisome. I had to dig into my emails to show them the prepayment receipt.
