Return on ITA

Hi,

I'll be flying JFK-TLV soon, and I'm considering a return on ITA through Rome.
Delta's partner page says I would earn MQMs, but when booking the ticket, it says:

Note For DL6655, DL6590
These flights are operated by a non-partnered airline and you will not earn credit toward Medallion status.

Also, see attached image.

Any suggestions as to what to believe?

Lastly, if I do earn MQMs on this flight, is it more advantageous for me to book via Delta or ITA?
