Flew LHR-FAO yesterday in economy with my wife/daughter and was offered a complementary drink from the bar. I noted the phone/tablet was showing seats with PAX status, from what i could tell any gold (or higher) was being offered a complementary drink (wife and daughter both silver and not offered). It was a small but welcome gesture. I remember when i first made silver years ago i had a similar experience.
Personally its the small things that start to add up (yes i know there are lots of big things to fix too). So thanks BA!
