My suite type seems to listed in my reservation in Hyatt.com for both pay and points nights. Sometime it listed as “multiple rooms”. This is after you first get an email confirmation with the normal suite price and 2+ hours later you get another email confirmation with the correct price. I also go to “Past activities” under “My account” to see the award redemption is applied to the correct hotel.
When I have to cancel bookings with suite upgrades attached, I always call in. The upgrades never go back to the account when I cancel online.
