20220 Update after a one night stay. It's a mixed bag. Weirdly a lot of great and some bad here.

The good:
-Platinum status recognized immediately at check in
-Late checkout given without asking
-Rooms are still very new feeling. Shower quality is hitting above market. This is one of the better Westins in terms of hard product.
-Staff seems very eager to please

The bad:
-Wifi here is horrendously slow. Actually, it's so slow, it's unusable. This was a headache, as I was hoping to get some work done, but to no avail.
-Our check in clerk was so nice that it came off as heavily forced. He was obviously not native to the area. Frankly, in 2022, who is anymore? I felt bad for the guy. He was obviously trying very very hard to make us feel welcome. He did so many things right, offering late checkout and asking if we wanted points instead of free breakfast. Unfortunately, it all faltered when he asked us if we wanted to be "upgraded" into a room I later found out was a downgrade from the corner room we booked. He seemed to believe that a standard room in a higher floor was better. I could tell from the way he described it that he did not truly understand the room inventory, but I obliged the "upgrade."
-It's very concerning that anyone (at least in our room) is able to pop open the HVAC panel and have their way with the filter/unit. I'm guessing someone has, because it makes rhythmic noises when on. On the plus side, I confirmed accidentally that the filer had been changed in the past 3 months. So weird....
-Pillows seem a bit subpar for Westin, which generally prides itself on having nice bedding. These were flat and sad. They felt old.
