fyi - a previous time when the Maldives said PCR not required Qatar lax refused to allow me to board - wouldn't look at timatec, wouldn't look at Maldives government website, etc. Others at other airports did not have this problem. I had gotten a PCR "just in case" otherwise I would not have been allowed on the plane!
